The reason we went to the Kings-Inn is the fact that it’s just a 15-minute walk to the entrance of Disneyland.
So we went to the entrance about 7:45 am because the gate is opening at 8:00
Because we already bought our tickets online, we could get straight in the line to pass security.
When you enter the park, you will walk through Main Street. This is where you will find the first souvenir shops, but because we don’t want to begin buying a lot of stuff, we passed the shops and started the day with the first ride: Big thunder mountain.
After this first ride, we saw the single rider lines. When you get in these rows, you will be a lot faster, but you can not sit next to each other. We were lucky, and we were put together several times.
After a lot of walking to all the rides and other attractions and standing
in line for a long time we got a bit hungry, and we didn’t want to lose too much time, so like in 2017 we got in the big line to the Matterhorn and one of us went to the EdelWeiss Snack stand to grab a Turkey Leg. That tastes fantastic!
At 8:00 am, the Parade started, so we had to hurry a bit to get a good spot along the route. So we hurried and finally found a spot front row where we could sit on the ground.
Because Disney celebrates its 50th Disney World anniversary, there is a special light parade.
Mathilde liked the parade very much and took a lot of photos of all the characters that passed us.
After the light parade, we stayed in the park till 23:45 and went back to our room at Kings-Inn. On the way back we talked about all the rides and we both liked the “Stars Wars: Rise of the resistance” the most.
